How can I rent my Kumundi camper?
The easiest way is to do it from our website, where you will find the calendar and availability of the different campers. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible
Of course! Basic insurance is already included in all reservations. This means that without paying any extra costs you will be entitled to unlimited mileage, 24hrs roadside assistance and coverage for third party damages. Choose which is the best option for your trip with any of the insurance packages that you can see at the bottom of this page.
Can I pick up the camper van at the airport?
We usually offer this service, although it depends on availability, cost 20 euros, do not hesitate to ask.
It works like a normal car, although in some campers the height exceeds 2 meters, so you have to be especially careful. The width is greater than a vehicle. You also have to be especially careful with the branches of the trees.
What is the deposit? How is payment made?
The deposit required for the reservation is the bail or responsibility of the traveler. The value of the deposit changes with the insurance package you have chosen (€ 1300 or € 700). This value is blocked on your credit card during the trip and can be deducted up to 20 days after the delivery of the motorhome in case of damage, fines or tolls.
What is the insurance coverage?
Kumundi Campers offers 2 insurance options: Basic and Standard. For more information check the bottom of this page. Keep in mind that all insurance packages do not cover negligent behavior, as explained in our Terms and Conditions.
Does insurance cover my belongings?
Kumundi Campers is not legally authorized to make insurance to cover travelers’ belongings. We recommend you to contact your personal insurance agency to see if they have any insurance during your travels or if they offer any type of additional travel insurance.
What do I need to rent a camper?
You need to be older than 25 years, driving license with more than two years old, ID or Passport, and a credit / debit card where we can make a reservation of 1200 Euros for the deposit, (600 in case of contracting the standard insurance). Without this we can not rent you the camper. It is essential to communicate the data of all potential drivers at the time the rental agreement is signed and provide a photocopy of the corresponding driving licenses as well as the originals for verification.
Under what conditions does the van have to be returned?
The van must be returned in the same conditions in which it was delivered to you. If this is not fulfilled, a penalty will be applied: Without exterior cleaning: 30 euros, Without internal cleaning: 50 euros, Stains on the upholstery: 60 euros, Tobacco smell: 80 euros. In case of loosing the keys or the vehicle’s documentation: 150 euros
Can I bring my pet in a motor home?
We do not accept pets in our camper.
What are the delivery and return times?
The delivery time is from 16:00 until 20:00, After 20 hours there is a surcharge of 20 euros, the return time is from 9 AM to 11 AM, before 9 AM, it has a surcharge of 30 euros, please note that we have to prepare the van for the next customer. If you wish to return your Camper in advance, let us know in advance. The early return does not imply any reduction in the cost of the rental.
